Admitted to Penn State’s Milton Hershey Medical Center

Hershey, PA May 7, 2025 Many of you know that I’ve been on the heart transplant list for about 9 months now. I’m sorry you’re learning about it this way if you hadn't heard.

This past Tuesday, I was admitted to Penn State Health’s Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, where I’ll be staying until a heart becomes available. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has reached out with support. Thank you!

A few people have asked what I need or want. So here’s something small but meaningful: send me a pair of themed socks! Maybe they have a funny saying, or if you work in higher ed, perhaps a pair with your school’s logo.

I will be adding pictures to my Instagram page (@pjc4pennstate) over the next few months, where I’ll feature a different pair each day, along with a little about the person who sent them. It’s a fun way to stay connected, give me something to do each day, and celebrate the incredible people in my life.

I am doing great, and I am continuing to do my work with Chris Marshall Advancement Consulting from our new Hershey Office!
